Post-game snack at a German restaurant. Believe it or not, all of this was complained about.
Complimented the owner of this car but he gave me the look that says he doesn't care for it because it needs too much work, which certainly all checks out.
Visited by one of the greatest cat moms to ever do it.

Arboretum Waterfront West trail entry
We'd been here a few times before and it was a nice trail, not a swamp. Aunt Nancy wanted to bring two of her grandkids for a hike and they didn't expect a swamp, but they were game if we were.
We'd never met these kids but they were a welcome addition to the relative portfolio
Always on the lookout for new local legends
Always good to meet a new neighborhood cat. We are extremely pleased to report that this one is named Jugz.
Découpage punk van inspiration, perhaps?
Was doing precision robotics movement testing and Dale was not sure what to think of it. It doesn't look like prey, but it's smallish and moves.

Multifamily bike ride with friends in Ballard
Stopped at a brewery where they were not kid friendly and the hot dogs were actively bad. Good beer, though.
Fish ladder at Ballard locks
Dad left the ride to catch the last game of the season a 30 minute ride north
The rest went to a far-superior brewery where someone brought a cat

We staked out a good spot to watch the parade

Stopped for lunch in Salem
It wouldn't be a bad idea to stop in on a cooler, less busy day. There was a festival going on and we still had a lot of driving to do. The dragon boat race was neat.
That's an interesting breakfast choice
We were invited to march in the Pride parade with Lambert House https://www.lamberthouse.org/ and were happy to accept.
The level of community enthusiasm for this parade was off the charts. Seattle is a beacon of acceptance for people from all over the country. This was the 50th year of this event in Seattle, and it wasn't always so big or so welcome.
This pirate guy joined us at the beginning of the parade and nobody knew who he was but he seemed like he had a great time and he had a great attitude.
One staple at pride parades is moms and dads who hug people who may not have had a loving mom or dad back home. You see them getting lots of hugs. It really does take a village.
Fun to see the toned-down, corporate-friendly T Mobile or Starbucks float followed by a group of homo-goths or your local militant gay anarchist chapter. Variety is the spice of life and we are burning up.
Some cars don't need any flags or stickers to be in this parade, but for this event it's always ok to be extra.
Public works guys marched the whole parade with cans collecting trash, compost AND recycling from both sides ❤️
We keep our absolute gayest bus ready for this event.
