U.S. vs Belgium, final 2026 World Cup game in Seattle. All of the watch parties had been packed so they opened up a new one in Chinatown which was also packed well before the game started.
Pioneer Square was beyond packed. You couldn't get within 2 blocks of the big screen once the game started. This was at least 30 minutes before that.
A steady stream of revelers coming out of all 3 stations serving the Pioneer Square/Chinatown/Stadium area. We learned later this day easily beat our previous ridership record.
