Drove across this cool old bridge again where I couldn't stop last time but this time had no kids in the car so I had to stop and walk back up and get that view of Mt. Hood. I was wondering why there were so many graffitis saying to go back or reconsider and it was because a trans person had jumped here a month earlier. 
Even places like Seattle and Portland aren't exactly safe for trans people, just less unsafe. This is supposed to be a free country. We need to do better.

We had lots of time to talk about lots of things. It was interesting to watch the scenery and people change throughout the evening. The people got rougher as the night got darker. Abdel just wanted to make sure everyone safely got where they needed to go.
