International transit operator appreciation day where we walked the platform and asked people if they wanted to wave a sign and thank their operator. 
The light rail and bus are often the only choice for disabled people to get around. The light rail is 100% at-grade boarding with elevators so people in wheelchairs can board and get where they need to go. The bus has special ramps to accommodate disabled riders. Many cities don't have this.
