Dried seaweed blind taste test
We visited a big park complex at Schwäbisch Gmund, which had it all.
By all, we mean dinosaurs and big wooden tracks to roll big wooden marbles in, which tricked the kids into hiking. The marbles were in vending machines for about $.30.
They had a little livestock area with some interesting stuff.
Schömbuch tower in the forest south of Böblingen
It was high and a bit wobbly in the wind so the two kids who were interested in climbing it weren't that interested in being on it.
Hit a little castle on the way back.
There was a low hole in there but it wasn't suitable for little kids or adults.
The kids said it goes pretty far back tho
Down the hill was a park with a giant water wheel. This thing was the size and speed where it would maim anyone who stuck an arm in.
But also a gentle barefüss trail.
It had a fast and not entirely safe slide.
Finished that day with Blümen. Some for our elderly neighbors and some for us.
The next weekend we hit another castle down on the border of the Schäbisch alb and the black forest.
This wasn't a pose.
The mullet is going strong. Might need a trim at some point.
Hugo is getting good at complaining about hiking.
